Gillian McIver

I got interested in both photography and video by simply picking up a camera and shooting.

I am interested in experimenting with creating images of how I see things, my own points and persepectives on things that exist, layered with the accretions of time, memory, misunderstanding and hope.

In 1997 I co-founded the group Luna Nera, to create site-responsive art interventions in old buildings, historic sites, places with historical or spiritual connections.

I work as an artist in photography, video and installation, and am also curator of video and site-responsive projects and events.
